Customer left 5* seller feedback but no product review
Hi
A customer has left a 5* seller feedback but no product review
does it go against any of amazon policies if I make a 'public reply ’ and ask for a product review ?
Thanks in Advance!

Customers are under no obligation whatsoever to provide product reviews - it’s entirely voluntary. You can ask them directly, once only and you can’t ask for a “positive” review as that is against the rules and will get your account suspended for review manipulation. Asking more than once will also get you suspended for misuse of buyer-seller communications
In any case, seller feedback and product reviews are entirely separate concepts. Feedback is about the sales “experience” as Amazon call it - delivery, packaging, customer care etc. Reviews are only about the product itself. You could get a 5-star feedback but a lousy product review, or the other way around
Be grateful for the 5-star feedback and hope other customers leave reviews in future

I think you need to just stay positive that you got a 5* review. no need to keep messaging for more. I know if I was buyer that would annoy me.
You also have to remember if they order regularly via amazon reviewing both seller and product would be come to a full-time job. it why reviews are becoming less and less unless a problem or buyers are bored

Alexa will now ask if you wish to leave 1-5 stars on orders you place as well .

Well to be honest i often just leave a star rating only as it is so easy and quick on the app.
If a product has really surpassed my expectations and i have time i will also leave a written feed back as well.
This month due to quite a few birthdays and having bought loads on Amazon and then to leave a written feed back for every purchase would be very time consuming.
To be honest when i am buying my final decision is based on the percentage rating of the 5 stars not the written feed back.
