VAT charges - Before registering for VAT and after

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help explain the following:

Prior to being VAT registered, my transaction details would include the tax breakdown and now im VAT registered, the transaction details do not include VAT and I cannot claim back any VAT on the seller fees and FBA fees?

When I look at orders where the customers pay for shipping as they are no prime members, the transaction details also show the VAT on the shipping they have been charged.

This is a transaction breakdown prior to being VAT registered:

Sales Proceeds £12.49

Amazon fees

Commission:

Base amount

-£1.91

Tax

-£0.38

FBA fulfilment fee per unit:

Base amount

-£2.63

Tax

-£0.53

Change to your seller account balance

£7.04

Am I missing something here?

I've not been VAT registered a while but if I recall with amazon fees once VAT registered you don't incur VAT charges any more but you have to account for the VAT via reverse charges.
