Amazon customer service agents are now encouraging customers to leave Prime

not going into details, but wow...

What kind of marketing strategy is that? Is there something I should know about? As an FBA seller on Amazon, most of my customers are Prime, so this concerns me.

Why are many Amazon customer service agents pressuring customers into leaving prime?

haven't been a prime member in 2 years. Why? It's 120 for nonsense. Half the "new" items I get are previous returns that Amazon shouldn't have resold. Amazon doesn't provide good service either. I have taken alot of my business else where. Although Amazon is just easy to order from because they have everything, that's really the only upside. Additionally I don't support Amazon for how they treat the 3rd party sellers. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has these feelings...

Same, canceled prime after their final act of doing me wrong. Already had reduced purchases here dramatically over the last 2 years, now, almost nothing. there are better options....people are just addicted to Amazon and forget to think outside the box. they will get there...

My experience is that Amazon as a monopoly is skewing the scale towards FBA sellers by giving them the main Buy Box even though those sellers might not always offer the lowest price and this doesn't always translate to best buying experience for customers. Amazon does this because they make more money off of the extra fees they charge FBA sellers.

I haven't had that yet, but did have one of the Account Health agents tell us recently that our ex-library inventory won't work with Amazon very well now because of the lack of invoices and that we would lose any appeals (i.e., we get customers once or twice a year that accuse us of stealing from the library and selling their stuff).

I can believe it. If I were a conspiracy theorist, it seems like the CS in another country is trying to sabotage Amazon. I reported restricted firework products being sold on Amazon shipped from Asia AND out of FBA warehouses. I reported it a month ago and none have been removed .... LIABILITY just waiting to happen
