There is some glitch on Amazon. For some reason our VAT got rejected we received an email saying:

he VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) from the European Commission has concluded that your VAT registration number *******85NH is invalid and as a result, your VAT registration number has been declined. If you are enrolled in the VAT Calculation Service (VCS), you will no longer be able to use this service until you provide a valid VAT number. While VCS is de-activated, you must create and provide VAT invoices for this country yourself.

We contacted Irish Revenue Tax Office and they confirmed that our VAT is in fact Active and vies shows that it is valid.

We need urgent attention!

We filled in our Italy tax ID in the backend and the verification passed, but ourseller account has not been restored

Our account should be temporarily suspend due to VAT number issues，which has been almost 2 years .

There is no appeal path and contact information in the background

Amazon is our only sales platform in Italy.

If we have no sales on our Amazon account and zero tax declaration for a long time, this could lead to the compulsory cancellation of our VAT by the Italian tax office and the inability to re-register for VAT again.

This will affect our future sales,We don't want to lose Amazon Italy！

We have always strictly abided by local national laws and regulations and Amazon’s policies.

Since Amazon's request for VAT, we have completed the registration of tax ID for the UK Germany France Italy and Spain.

We completed the tax number registration for the Italian station in 2021 and completed the declaration on time every quarter

Please help us reactivate seller account.

Amazon is trying to determine if our UK based subsidiary company is established in the UK for Value Added Tax (VAT) purposes. We do not have physical employees in the UK which is what it is being asked. We are VAT registered and compliant and we pay our VAT on sales made directly to the HMRC. Is there any solutions or must i select the option where we are not a legal UK entity based in the UK?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
