Strange striking out of feedback

Ive noticed a lot of similar feedback strike outs to this one recently. What does having the wrong photo of the item have to do with fulfillment by Amazon.?

It isn’t reviewed by a human; if it’s an Amazon delivery, the feedback can be removed.

I also support that the feedback should be removed. If the item doesn’t match the images, the feedback belongs under product feedback, not seller feedback, as it implies all items from the seller have incorrect images based on one experience.

Its also possible that comingling was taking place on that line - so it could be a fault of amazons picking processes.

Perhaps its the cynic in me but I think there is something more sinister going on. I have seen this strike-through reason on a lot of feedbacks where there is no indication that the error was a fulfillment-related issue. 100% of the time where I have looked further into it, the item is a FBA item. I have had the same feedback on one of my items, word for word, and requested a removal or strike-through and it has been rejected but is struck-through for an FBA item. If this is bot driven/managed there should not be an occasion where the same feedback gets a different outcome unless of course the bot is working to an additional rule i.e. Is the product FBA...... Now if that is one of the benefits of working via FBA lets get it out in the open at least then we know what we are dealing with.

Hello @Seller_AlYpsVHv0gj21

Thank you for participating in our forums, I'm Angie from UK forum team.

The image attached could represent the request of a seller for feedback removal under a FBA order, as stated by @Seller_ZJhFeE3tNKzfh. However, I cannot confirm that is the reason since without the order ID we cannot see much information.

If you have any concern related to feedback removal and want me to have a look, please provide the order ID affected.

Regards,

Angie 🍂

As others have said, not all sellers have control over the products they list. This is especially true in BMVD where catalogue corruption and vandalism is rife.

On the other hand, I have seen loads of FBA seller feedback struck through for complaints that would remain in place if the seller were FBM (ie, nothing to do with delivery or handling).
