Amazon encouraging customers to ask for unjustified refunds
We are wasting hours every day fielding unjustified requests for refunds caused by amazon’s crazy automated e mails.
They are telling customers to ask for a refund if they haven’t received their item by date x
They are telling customers that they have not had their items - when they have.
The odd decent person writes to say that they are being assailed by emails from amazon when they had their stuff long ago
The vast majority ask for a refund - because amazon told me to- we then have to send proof of delivery. Some of these back off but many still insist that they want the goods plus a refund - because amazon says so.
Is anyone else having this problem ?
Is there any way to get amazon to stop?

Not the best solution but ship your items untracked and this message isn’t sent by Amazon.

I have looked at Royal Mail website cannot see any updates saying there is a delay of up to 10 days so it makes me wonder reading the forum claims are being after 10 days.
I contacted delivery office after being informed that a dispatched 1st class did not arrive 14 days later.

The key workers (the actual workers of the postal service) are doing their absolute best given these circumstances. What I am disgusted at is why the Royal Mail have not had the decency to publish in the media some form of simplistic notice to the UK of postal delays. I suspect like everything it comes down to cost :sigh:
