Stranded - How to Fix?
I updated an asin. The stock went into stranded. Against the listing it does show the amount of units. But also states (Inactive Out of Stock ). SS is no help, keeps referring my case to ‘expert’. Then I receive different answers, non of which works.
Would it be best if I deleted the asin and create new one with the same SKU?
TIA

What did you update on ASIN? Go to inventory - click edit (on ASIN affected) - see if anything is highlighted in red for you to correct.

I had this before and in the end I just ignored it (since they won’t return stock to me there’s not much I can actually do), I tired the FBM/FBA tactic and that worked on a couple, same as refresh stranded worked on a couple, but the others just fixed themselves after a few days.

I’ve had some of these fix themselves if you delete and relist. Amazon tend to say leave 24 hours after deleting before you relist. Often, after relisting, the inventory is then back on sale without you having to do anything else. With any luck the category problem could be fixed too.
Uploading an inventory file for your product can also work, although I’ve had mixed success with this.

Thank you for all your suggestions everyone.
After a chain of 25 or so emails and 12 lost days in sale for that asin, the ‘expert’ has come back to me, with what could be the solution.
Vital Info Tab > NO OF BOXES ATTRIBUTES - I had 3, and have to change to 1. Now edited and we will see in 24 hours if works.

Be careful of leaving it too long - I had one in stranded that SS were supposed to be helping me with. After a month of messages, my IPI started to drop because of the stranded stock. Had no other option but to create removal order.
Absolute waste of time.
I now have 2 more lines showing stranded after a flat file update so…who knows.
