From A new Chinese seller
First of all, I feel very sad to receive the email that says Amazon could not verify our information provided, We are a new founded company with all the true and valid information we could provide, what shocked me is, the email just tell me that the information could not be verified and the account is not opened and we can’t sell on Amazon. and no information about the reason and what we can do to prevent this from happening.
We have all worked so hard to get the documents and paper works done during the past weeks, I don’t know why Amazon refused us and what the verification process really about. I have emailed amazon and opened a new case about this.
I know some seller provided fake information to open seller account which has caused amazon some trouble, But I don’t think this is a good way to treat honest sellers like us. We already prepared to register the brand and logo for our products. We will continue our registration and work closely with my suppliers, If amazon close the door to us, We are very sad but we can’t do any thing about it, we will be forced to move to another platforms.

There are separate parts to open an account:
- Business information
- Banking information
- Personal information
Business information
Depends on what type of business you are (Sole trader, partnership, Ltd company) etc… paperwork for each type is different; also where are you registered. Amazon will only accept documents in certain languages, so the document will need to be officially translated if not in one of them
Banking information
The name of the account MUST MATCH EXACTLY with Business Information, so LTD on Business registration paper will need to show as LTD on Bank Account.
Also Amazon will only accept certain type of bank account. High street ones, always; payment gateway, there is another list. So check the list.
Bank statement within the last 90 days.
Personal information
did you put in all the information correctly? Chinese Name as shown on ID or Passport? exactly matched? no short English names etc. Have you supplied the utilities bill within 180 days?
This is the rough check list.
