Last Straw

So this weekend has been the last straw. I have had negative feedback from someone who claimed they hadn’t received their parcel, RM tracking said it had been, she then left neg feedback and then promptly emailed me telling me her parcel was under a load of post! Appealed Amazon and they won’t remove it, even though the evidence is there. I’ve asked the buyer to remove it but to be honest, if she can’t find an A4 board backed envelope then I doubt she could find a button to retract feedback!

Then this morning I woke up to an A to Z claim that Amazon had issued, even though again the Royal Mail tracking number showed it as being delivered AND on top of that this is the 2nd claim this person has put through claiming that she hadn’t received the parcel yet again, both parcels delivered.

So I pressed the button to close the account and now for some reason I have to wait 3 days for a representative to get back to me. Any idea what that is all about?

In the meantime I have pumped up the cost of postage to £2.95 so that I can send all the parcels 2nd class recorded, so who on earth will pay that for a peel off sheet that costs £1.39! Either way, my Amazon selling days are over!.

I’m guessing that you mean by showing delivered, your actually using 2nd class/RM48 for the delivery and just seeing that it’s delivered.
Amazon does not accept this as proof of delivery.
The only way that you can prove delivery, is a fully tracked service and frankly, even then, it’s hit and miss.
No idea what you mean by recorded delivery though, as this doesn’t exist and hasn’t done for many years now. Signed for?
In any case, it’s a complete waste of money for an item of that value.

For a low value item, your better off asking the customer to wait a day or two, and if it still doesn’t turn up, refund it. It actually works out cheaper in the end.

Apparently people will pay £3 postage on a £1.39 item!
