Read onlyI am so confused can someone shed some light on this matter. So I'm currently selling under listings already in place, because apparently Amazon can block you if you make too many of the same listings.
Anyway I always check to see, make sure there's more than 3 sellers on that listing, also Amazon has a bar that says approved to sell so I click that and list my item.
I then get emails from other sellers saying I have to remove my listing or they then report me to Amazon.
But why hasn't Amazon restricted us from selling on the listing if its just going to get rejected.
Is there anyway I can identify such listings so I don't have to go through the whole rejection situation?
Thank you
is your product branded and or barcoded? If so, you need to look for that informationn amazon.
Always look at the brand link under the title. If it doesn’t match the brand, I’d stay well clear of it.
A lot of sellers create their own listings, even if branded goods under their own, often made up brand to get the listing to themselves.
If it’s a generic product the seller brand issue still applies, you can’t just find a listing that looks like the product you have. I believe for generic products the current policy is to always create you own listing now, though I’ll admit the policy wasn’t 100% clear on that.
as a prime example, and if I could have guessed the category you were selling in, chocolates would have been pretty high up the list…

The brand is not ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS. It should be Cadbury. That product should have one listing that is via the barcode on the box.
ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS are wrong to do what they have done by creating a new listing, but you also cannot list on it. The listing should be reported (though Amazon will likely not do anything) and you should find the correct listing by the barcode. If the barcode matches that listing the brand name still needs changing.
