Refund requested twice for the same order?
We’ve just had 2 refund requests for the same order with 2 different reasons for return.
How can the Amazon system process 2 return requests for the same order ?
I’m also wondering if our esteemed and valued customer is expecting 2 refunds for the same order.
We will see what gets returned.
Anybody else had this issue ?

Hi
No we get this all the time, customers will open request as doesn’t fit /change of mind. Realise they have to pay return so open a new one as defective or not as described to get a free post.
Last time this happened I processed the return on the original and still managed to tick the charge postage button.

Oh the maximum I think I had for same order was about 8 when we could authorise the return. On the final one we selected deny duplicate returns, needles to say they contacted amazon however still worked out that they finally sent the item back eventually.

Maybe you can cancel (or deny) the second request as doublicated!

Yes, we recently had 3 return requests for the same order, each with a different buyer comment.
When it was eventually returned and refunded, all 3 were marked as “prior refund provided” at the same time.
This has never happened before as far as I am aware. It guess that the buyer was waiting for the free return label to appear or had forgotten that the return had already been authorised?

Interesting to see whether Amazon charge sellers for 2 return labels when two requested have been opened. We have a return pending for a single item order, with two return requests, each with a different Hermes label.

As I understand it, you only get charged when the label is scanned on dispatch. So unless the customer has helpfully divided up the items in the order - this one has two units of the same item, then hopefully we get charged just once…
Then again this is Amazon…
