Sku the value specified is invalid

Hi, I am trying to add my first product, but getting msg ‘‘the value specified is invalid’’.
Every number that i try is not working.

The SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a number that you can apply to your item - many use it for location in storage etc. If you do not assign your own SKU, Amazon will apply one - a string of numbers/letters usually.
