Because if so, even if you apologise, remove the product etc well you still did something to receive the complaint, the brand owner has no reason to withdraw th e complaint.

To address a violation on your account health dashboard, you'll need to appeal. Once Amazon accepts your appeal, the violation will be removed.
If you choose not to appeal, the violation will be automatically removed after 180 days unless it's violated again.
