Bank Account Name
I applied for a Amazon Handmade account and have been put on a professional account. I am trying to claim back the £30 fee that has been waived- however when trying to upload bank details I cannot change the bank account name as it has been set as my business name.
I have repeatedly contacted support but they just send generic answers. I have sent them a screen shot, everything. They wont let me even close my account while this balance is still pending.
Any help appreciated.

You have to have a Pro account in order to be handmade, and it is usual practice [for some reason] for the first months fee to be taken, however thisis refunded to you [not sure if you get that refund automatically or have to open a case to request it though].
Why do you want to close your account already? If you do that you won’t be easily able to open another account as it is one account per lifetime without prior permission [so unless you come back from the grave you don’t normally get a second chance ]

thanks for your response. my main problem was that I couldn’t change by bank account name to receive any kind of refund as this was pre-set. I was going round in circles with the support just sending generic answers. I may have resolved it by altering my seller name to match but now waiting to see if it comes through. without this i cannot seem to downgrade my account and not be paying a monthly fee.
i sell on other sites but dont think amazon is for me!
