Account suspension due to inauthentic claim
Hi Dear,
can anyone suggest me what shall I do as my account got suspended for inauthentic issue. Invoice submitted got rejected and then POA submitted afterwards. 5 days have passed no response from them on my submitted POA.
Last reply with notification was below:
Hello, “We are still reviewing your account. We will send you an email when we finish the review.We may not reply to further emails about your review”.
Can any one suggest me shall i send them a reminder email to follow up or wait. Normally how many days they are taking to reply on this issue. If there is no response at all within 15 days what shall I do?
Kindly advise from your experience.

It can take quite a while, so could be longer than 15 days. Don’t chase them as I understand you move to the back of the queue if you do.

That’s no time at all as far as reviewing POAs go. Have a read through the forum re this and you will see that they take a long time. It’s also worth looking at the POAs of other sellers that have been suspended to get an idea of proper formats and the sort of detail that should be included. This will give you an idea if yours fits the criteria and if not you’ll have time to work on it and get advice re any improvements you may think it needs.

So not a rejection. Furthermore they’re specifically telling you not to send futher emails, so I wouldn’t submit anything until at least 30 days have elapsed since that email with no response. I was just suggesting that you use that time wisely just in case the response is a rejection, unless ofc you feel that you sent them a perfect plan.

Firstly: The inauthentic products were identified how? Customer complaints or copyright infringement raised by to copyright holder? (Account health should identify)
How you handled the complaints?
What kind of products are they? famous brands or random things? did you created a listing or copied it?

Okay, now I can understand the situation.
What invoices did you provided? What was your supplier for the Logitech brand?
As well share your POA to now if its has all the required info.
If your supplier is authorised and legitimate, you only need to work on the POA which is the easy part.
If the supplier is not approved by amazon, then there is only option to take a full responsibility and plead that you did not know better in you POA.
In amazon is not over until its over, even if you had the last email, its does not mean you need to say goodbye to your account.

Well it seems that your supplier might not valid to Amazon as it can be the case and would make sure to address those issues. I would change your POA to this (though is quite good):

Reason behind the account suspension:
We have received a message from amazon that the below ASINs listed in our account are having inauthentic issues.

As a seller, I did not take all the measures to understand the importance of Intellectual Property
and did not act immediately after receiving cases of infringement.
Steps taken to resolve:
• ASINS mentioned above were deleted from our inventory in all marketplaces.
• I have checked thoroughly that there were no orders received yet for those ASINs. If so we compensate the buyer against any complaint.
• All the remaining stock were destroyed and any FBA inventory retracted from Amazon warehouses.
• I have start analyzing our active inventories and removing more inventories which we found might be having inauthentic issues and contradictory to amazon policies.
- I have also thoroughly reviewed the Amazon’s intellectual property policies (Copyright, Trademark, Patent & Design Policies).
- I have also thoroughly reviewed the websites of the European IPR Helpdesk, European Union Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization in order to further our knowledge of intellectual properties.
Future preventive measures:
• Before listing any products we will verify internally in 3 steps and make sure the ASINs we will decide to activate should follow the amazon policy and guidelines.
• All inventory should be sourced from authorized distributors or dealers who buy directly from the distributor to prove our strong and proper supply chain.
• In case of listing any items where we need the permission from the IP owner, we will list only if they allow us to do so.
• We will regularly monitor our inventory list and make sure we will do the needful changes following the manufacturer product modifications and packaging.
• Apart from the marketplace, we will also ensure these sort of ASINs will not be dispatched in FBA order too.
We have attached the invoices of those models mentioned in that ASINs which we had purchased earlier from our supplier,
We believe our above action plan is sufficient and we may therefore request you to kindly reinstate our account and allow us to continue selling in amazon.

Though I am not sure if it will work completely, just make sure all those listings are deleted from all marketplaces and no FBA stock is remaining.
If this POA won’t work, the only action you can take then is to clean your account completely of ALL the listings in all marketplaces and then resend the POA which mentions that.
I have been through it myself and helped unlocked multiple accounts this way.
Its a sticky situation but not complete lockdown. Though please be aware it can take months until account is back and running again.
Sometimes they reply within 2 days put once one account had to wait 2 months after uploading the POA, though account got reinstated after.
