Increase Daily Sales

I am a new Amazon seller and am trying to figure out a strategy to increase my daily sales volume. I’m basically looking for a rough checklist to optimise my approach. Some things I’m trying so far are:

  • Reselling a popular established brand
  • Using FBA
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Using automated pricing rules to match the buy box price

I am also considering implementing a manually targeted advertising campaign which I think I understand would list my products as “sponsored”???

Could anybody suggest anything else I may do to increase my daily sales volume?

try to sell high ranked items also be careful with automated pricing for the buy box as you could end up losing money and dont forget if you are fba then you usually can price items a little higher and still get the buy box and if you are an fba seller the buy box isnt as crucial especially if you are the only fba seller as prime customers will filter the others out

I generally use pay per click until my item is on the first page of the most obvious search for whatever it is and then, once it is, I pull the campaign and let it sink or swim on its own merits. You don’t have to spend a fortune, it may speed things up if you spend more but I have had success with only spending very small amounts per day.

I only sell my own brand so I never have to share the buy box but it is my understanding that, if you advertise, your sponsored ad is only shown when you have the buy box (obviously that is a good thing as you don’t want to be paying per click if somebody else is going to be getting the sale.)

That is, I think, not recommended. If the other seller also uses automated pricing rules, you just chase each other down the snake until one of you pulls out when the price means a loss
