VTR below 95% do i need to be worried
Ok so like many others i have recently had to buy a printer as the majority of things i sent were letter size and could no longer use the stamps/franking option.
This has worked fine for untracked items.
For tracked items i still buy at the post office. all 1st class signed for.
currently my VTR has dropped to 85%
as of the 91 non exempt items only 78 have a Valid tracking number.
This is of course nonsense i have checked the 13 numbers on the report and all are valid numbers. The problem is Royal Mail are not scanning at the delivery point, although they are being scanned at the post office when posted.
I thought i read somewhere not to worry as these are checked again before an account is deactivated. But i have just had an email from Amazon.
So what im really wondering is are the majority of people which the same problem also getting this email and have had no further issues or do i need to be concerned?
Hello,
We have identified that your Valid Tracking Rate for seller-fulfilled orders in select categories has dropped below the 95% requirement. If your Valid Tracking Rate continues to be below 95%, we may remove the listings for your seller-fulfilled items in the affected categories on Amazon.co.uk.
Why did I receive this message?
We have observed that you have provided valid tracking numbers for less than 95% of your seller-fulfilled orders in select categories. Sellers must provide valid tracking numbers for at least 95% of their shipments with integrated delivery service providers in all categories. For more information on Amazon policy on this topic, go to “Valid Tracking Rate (VTR)”:

What can I do to avoid removal of my listings for seller-fulfilled items?
Please ensure that you no longer violate the Valid Tracking Rate policy. We recommend that you review your recent untracked shipments and make a plan to improve your performance. You can also purchase postage through Amazon Buy Shipping service, which automatically confirms shipment and provides tracking for your orders.
If you ship from China, you are required to use a delivery service provider that is delivery-track-integrated with Amazon for all items purchased on Amazon.co.uk; and
· For all orders with a value below 5 GBP, including delivery charges, use a tracked delivery method that provides at least one carrier scan;
· For all packages with a value of equal to or above 5 GBP, including delivery charges, use a fully tracked delivery method that provides at least two scans (including a delivery scan/attempt).
You do not need to submit a plan of action to us at this time.

If this is the issue - you don’t have anything to worry about - as amazon have said that while you will still receive the email notifications of low VTR, they will not block you selling in the affected categories.

Would someone mind having a look at my vtr report please? I have been paying for my postage via amazon but tried a couple on my RM business account to see how it would affect my vtr rate.
My VTR has dropped to 50%, a buyer placed two separate orders, both sent as large letters with Royal Mail. I paid the postage for one order via amazon so it’s exempt and the other order via my business click & drop account and manually added the tracking/ ref number (RM Standard 2nd LL).
Royal Mail have failed to do a delivery scan for both of the LL so the one I paid for on my business account has affected my VTR Rate.
Should I be concerned about my VTR report or will it be validated?

Okay thank you, I think I did everything right but it just didn’t get scanned. A bit concerned about using my business account now though
