denied safe-t claim due to late dispatch, but late dispatch was due to failed dpd collection
we had a refund come for a £350 SFP order that was refunded out of the blue by amazon due to "order not received".
we checked the tracking which confirms delivery so we started a safe-t claim, however this was denied due to the item being 1 day late shipped late, so not eligible for reimbursement. The reason it was shipped 1 day late is because of a failed collection by DPD (they didn't show up and collect our parcels).
So long story short, amazons assigned couriers (DPD) failed to collect our parcels so the order was shipped/delivered a day late, the customer complained and got a refund of £350 and has still got the item. So we are totally out of pocket through no fault of our own.
We tried appealing the safe-t claim decision but get the standard response.
Anyone got any ideas on how we might be able to resolve this one?

I sympathise with the issue but on a separate note, surely you marked the item as despatched the moment you printed the label? If not, you always should, to prevent a late despatch defect.
