Hi
Buyer open a return and make a fake reson return to get free postage back. I did not describe the product, only the most important information about the product, such as what is in the box, what type of installation is, how much should be filled in the burner (bio fireplace) for safety. In order not to pay for shipping, the buyer gave "Return Reason: Performance or quality not adequate" and the comment "Buyer Comment: Item is not as robust as described", which is not true because I did not describe anything because there is nothing to describe about this product. It looks like the product has been used.
if the return reason was performance or quality not adequate that is a buyer is liable for the return postage.
However if it was a prepaid return label that was supplied, then you would have been charged for that label upfront, and you can deduct the cost of the postage from any refund ;or if a refund at first scan took place, Amazon should have deducted the label costs.
If you have received back a materially different product, the if a refund at first scan took place you open a safe t claim, or if you are being asked to supply a refund still you can do a partial refund
