Trying to list a new gin
It’s a craft gin under the name of Jin Reaper, 3 gins; Grim, Evangeline, Ferryman, None have a barcode and I do not have a trademark. How on earth do I list it?

The barcode is easy, you get them from GS1.
I would imagine that it’s not possible to list this kind of thing as generic, as they usually have a brand name. And to list without, just invites others to take over the listing.
I may be wrong, as I don’t sell anything alcoholic. If so, I’m sure someone will correct me.

Yes, I was going to say a few similar things as above post from Neil.
Are you a new seller ?, and is your Business seller account fully verified ?
If you’re already an established seller in the alcohol category then fine, but you must only buy your barcodes from GS1 - Amazon no longer accept from other suppliers.
If you are new to this then as Neil says, you have to get permission from Amazon as it is a restricted category, and I believe there are quite strict labelling requirements.
Check out Seller University, where I would assume all the rules/regs would be.

As other people have mentioned, I would HIGHLY recommend you register your brand in the UK and then apply for brand registry. It might delay you listing for a while, but you will have so much more control and security over the listings.

Hi, yes we are fully registered and the sale of alcohol has been approved. I’ve got as far as purchasing the barcodes because we don’t have them on our labels and can’t because I can’t log in - there is no where to register! I honestly thought that obtaining alcohol licences from the UK government was hard work, but Amazon have surpassed that many times over. I really am ready for not bothering at all with this

If you do decide to give up… I like Gin
On a serious note
If you look at the accelerator program, you can start using the brand on Amazon whilst it’s still pending, which will allow you to get started quickly, however it can be a significant investment for a small company ( around £800 if I remember correctly)
When you list products, remember to add them under the brand exactly as it is in Brand registry
Good luck
