Card details wrong, email
I’m getting emails saying the card details are invalid or wrong. I cannot respond (to the email) and unable to ask the question, via “help”
The card details are NOT incorrect and NOT out of date. Amazon, have until a few weeks ago been using them! and money going into my account fine. I’m now in limbo, as I cannot get any support from Amazon. Any bright ideas, guys?

Have you checked your card / payment section in your seller account page?

Might be worth checking your buyer account card details too. They’re apparently linked.

Thanks. I don’t actually ever buy anything on amazon

It happened to us few times. Always on the day of disbursement. I usually add another card (my private one instead of company card) to restore account functionality, and few days later change back to old card details.
Strangely it always happens when we are awaiting disbursement payment. Temporarily problems with card slows down time to get our money for few days…

If it is on disbursement day and you don’t have a balance of at least £1.00, when Amazon verify by debiting your account the £1.00 your account will go below and the process will stop. They will send you that email. I don’t know if this is your case but worth mentioning.

I’ve been around and round in circles with this. I’ve redone it. But it reverts back, every time

Hi
The same thing happened to us.We had to ring Amazon about it .They removed the card details the re - entered them. This solved the problem for a short time but then it reverted back again. It seems to be a problem at their end which they don’t seem to be able to fix.We ended up having to register another card to get over the problem.

There is a scam e-mail going around saying card details are wrong. It looks quite authentic.

Literally had one after I commented. Started like this:
Greetings from Amazon Services Europe.
You have an outstanding amount due in your Amazon Seller Account. We attempted to charge your credit card or bank account for this amount, but your bank declined the charge.
All Amazon sellers must provide valid payment information from a credit card and bank account acceptable to Amazon Services. Please verify that the payment information you have on file is correct, and contact your bank with questions related to the accuracy of the information you provided.
It is possible that the charge was declined due to a credit limit imposed by your bank. If that is the case, we may attempt to charge a lesser amount to your card or account as often as every 24 hours until the remaining balance in your account is paid in full.
