Company registration
Hi there just started to sell on amazon, but I am working in another company as an employee,but I want to open a company . Would that effect my place where I work now? Or I can open my ltd company and carryon working in my place and selling on amazon? Also I want to register for vat, and I will be happy if u can tell me if I can claim the vat back on items that I bought for selling in amazon ? Thanks

As long as the company you work for isn’t selling the same product lines on Amazon i should lthink it’s fine.
You would have 2 incomes so register your new company with HMRC, tax adjustments will be made when you submit your annual tax return for self-employed.
VAT - Do you turnover 85k already with your new company? If so then yes, you need to register for VAT and only then can you claim back VAT on stock.
