Read onlyear Amazon Support Team,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to inform you that I opened a business account on Amazon, but unfortunately, I do not currently have a business. Every month, Amazon deducts £30 from my account, which I am unable to afford.
I kindly request that you stop these deductions and switch my account to a simple (non-business) account. I would greatly appreciate your assistance with this, as the monthly charge is becoming difficult for me to manage.
Thank you for your time and support, and I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Muhammad Aroom
This is the wrong way to downgrade your account.
Go to your settings and downgrade from there.
If you haven't sold anything, ask seller support for a refund of what you have paid so far, telling them you made a mistake.
This is NOT Amazon Support, but simply a forum of other sellers.
So you are not charged the £30 a month you need to downgrade your selling plan from professional to individual. Go to Settings (cog wheel top right) - account info - manage your servicesd - same again then click the individual button not professional.
HOWEVER, you say you do not have a business ?? - if you are buying goods to sell on for profit then you ARE a business and need to be registered as such with both the tax office and have an Amazon BUSINESS seller account - which is NOT the same as professional (professional and individual are the selling plans, seller accounts are Business and individual - which is ONLY for selling off your own personal second-hand items).
Are you sure you aren't a business? It looks like you're selling new products and have a limited company which would strongly suggest you are a business.
None of that means you can't change your selling plan, but do be aware there are things you will lose such as your ability to offer free shipping.
