Read onlyHello everyone,
I'm facing a challenging situation with one of my listings, and I could really use some advice.
I recently received a notification from Amazon regarding a "Product Safety Issue" for my cookware item: Homatz Induction Stock Pot 24cm Diameter, 5L Stainless Steel Pot with Glass Lid. The listing has been removed. However, my Account Health Rating remains unaffected.
I'm a bit confused because, as far as I understand, my product does not fall under the food and safety category. I have been selling this particular product for over a year without any issues or complaints related to safety. I haven’t received any prior warnings or notifications about potential violations.
I’m planning to submit an appeal, but before doing so, I wanted to check if anyone here has faced a similar situation. What steps did you take to resolve it? Any advice on how to best communicate this in the appeal to Amazon would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for any insights you can provide!
We have had this recently, Amazon decided some of our products are medical devices when they are not. They have asked for certain documentation which I cannot provide as they are not medical devices so do not have the documentation that Amazon require. Unfortunately, most non medical devices do not come with documentation stating this is not a medical device.
Telling Amazon that this is not a medical device over and over and over and over and over again doesn't work, you just get the same copy and paste response asking for the non existent documentation. We have deleted and closed the affected listings.
One would imagine that as the pot goes into contact with food, there are relevant safety regulations relating to it?
