Opening a Seller Account in BRAZIL

Anyone here got experience opening a seller account in Brazil?

We have a UK/EU seller account, and access to North America - but not Brazil. We got access to Mexico.

Has anyone here got experience of opening an account in Brazil?

It seems its a separate marketplace = we need to start a completely new account?
Can we then merge the accounts?

Based on my knowledge, unfortunately it’s not possible to use the UK/EU company to sell on Amazon Brazil.

You need to use either a US company and a “unified” account, or a Brazilian company.

Hi @KonstantinTh thanks for your comment.

I have a US seller account.
I have found the following announcement from AmZ posted May 31, 2021

If you are a US-based professional seller, you can now increase your sales by opening a store on Amazon Brazil.

Amazon Brazil is a fast-growing store that represents a significant business opportunity with 31.4 million users and +100% year-on-year growth of overall traffic on Amazon.com.br*.

You can quickly and easily expand to Amazon Brazil through a unified account, as you can in our Mexico and Canada stores. There’s no registration process required, and we won’t charge additional monthly subscription fees for unified accounts in Brazil.
