VTR - Stamps/Franking Invalid!
We just noticed our VTR dropped from 100% to 7%. We switched to using Royal Mail 48 last Friday so we thought this was maybe why then realised the report is lagging two weeks behind. Have downloaded the report and seen they’re all our orders dispatched from last Thursday using the stamps/franking option… so it would appear they’ve changed this overnight to an invalid shipping method without telling anyone.

That’s strange, the report should only cover up until 14th September and thats for the promised delivery date so will be from items sent 13th September at the latest and before? Mine is still 100% and I dispatch using a mixture of CRL48 and manual Stamps/Franking for letters.

Hi dragonmaster
Suggest you run your VTR report to see which items are considered Invalid…
My VTR is OK and there is no sign of 2nd Class Stamps/Franking suddenly being Invalid rather than excluded, and I would expect to see a swathe of reports here if it had happened
Or are you using “Stamps/Franking” option and not 2nd/1st Class
All Best

I use the 1st Class option and my VTR has been 0% for ages but nothing has happened.

Can you post a screenshot of your VTR report as items from last Thursday won’t be on it yet, I also post using a mix of RM 48 and stamps/franking for letters and I am on 100%, so I don’t think there is any change in policy. Something else must be going on and hopefully your VTR report will show what that is.

I send 95% of my orders by using “stamps/franking” the other 5% by RM signed for
,my VTR went from N/A to 100% yesterday.
Still can’t really understand the VTR rules.

So what seems to have happened is when we switched to Royal Mail 48 last week we activated the Mark as dispatch and update in Amazon options and it’s basically gone back and back dated our shipments and switched them all to 2nd class Royal Mail.

Can you claim back from royal mail for RM24/48 if its lost or customer haven’t received? as we have royal mail business account and we are printing label directly from amazon buy shipping

We are using Royal Mail 2nd Class Stamps/Franking from the day when last update came from Amazon.
Go back and edit all consignment to Royal Mail 1st Class Stamps/Franking or Royal Mail 2nd Class Stamps/Franking method you used. At least you address your mistake and edit posting method.
Wait for few more days and see if it came out of report or not. If you lucky enough it will work.
If it don’t work than you can support case case that you edit consignment to correct method to defend your side.
We try in the past to edit consignment and it worked for us.

@Jackie1 You need to be using Royal Mail 1st Class Stamps/Franking. Your VTR should be N/A instead of 0%.
Using Royal Mail 1st Class causes the VTR issues. Stamps/Franking is ignored on VTR and therefore doesn’t count against you. I post the odd few by Special Delivery and mine is 100% None of my stamps/franking are counted on VTR, only the Special Delivery posting and it gives me at the moment: 100% 4/4 - these 4 being the Special Delivery packets.

i use click and drop and am maually putting it down as stamps in amazon for the last 30 days and my vtr is %100 again
have you disabled click and drop so that its not over writing your settings on amazon
