User verification - alternative to passport
We’ve had a new starter join the team and we’re trying to get them their own Amazon user login. However, it appears the only valid ID is a passport, and our staff member doesn’t have one. Any advice on how to work around this would be appreciated.
Thanks as always in advance.

A driving license will work as well.

As @NEil says, a driver’s licence will work if they have one.
If it’s related to the form - I had an issue when I had to re-verify and initially I had used my passport. It since expired and I wasn’t going to get another just to get verified again on Amazon, so tried to use my driver’s licence. But the only option was Passport. I went round and round in circles with seller support for weeks trying to get them to understand I couldn’t upload my DL because there was no option. In the end, I just ignored the fields and instead of passport number, put in my DL number and submitted and it worked.

Thank you everyone. I have submitted a driving licence as per everyone’s advice, and that has been accepted. Thanks as always to everyone on the forum.
