Read onlyHi, I have payed for the shimpent via Amazon website however when i try and arrange a collection and use these tracking numbers it moves me to a page that wants me to pay for the collection. Are UPS no longer colelcting items for free from your home?
I have had this issue for a number of weeks now.
many thanks
UPS should not charge for the collection and this should show when typing in the tracking number beginning with 1Z...
What tracking number are you using to schedule the collection?
Are you using the UK UPS website to arrange collection?
Are you using the number starting 1Z and not the one starting FBA? I've just tried arranging a collection and it seems to be working.
UPS do not charge for collection , We had few collection last week . Looks like some error on booking . Like others mention - the number starting 1Z. Hope it will help . Regards
Hello @Seller_WBZqB97UO8Unv,
Here Simon from Amazon.
Have you managed to fix the issue following your fellow Sellers suggestion?
Best,
Simon
When you've completed your shipment there should be a button you can select saying 'tracking number' or similar at the bottom right of the page. Click on that and that is where you will find the correct tracking number needed for entering into the UPS website.
When I try to book my collections on to UPS, I often get an error message say that they need to be paid for. I found that if you use a "," between each tracking number, with no spaces or new lines. The error goes away.
Hi there - a couple of months ago UPS had an issue with their website that affected amazon sellers trying to arrange a collection. We had to use their live chat feature and the agent entered the details etc.
It has been more or less sorted - but there is still a problem. We have found since then that you can only enter one tracking number (1ZAB...etc) at a time to book a collection. If we enter 2 or more then a message comes up - it highlights the tracking numbers and says that collection charges may apply - been doing this for weeks now.
Dont know how many boxes you were trying to book - try one tracking number and see if it works for you
I have just created a shipment for the first time in over a year, so lots have changed. I have however arranged a collection using the UPS website form without any prefixes etc. I did try the moment after creating the shipment and it wanted payment, but I left it a day and it recognised the tracking number and told me that I did not need to pay for the collection as it was a prepaid tracking number. I was also able to arrange the collection for the same day, so no time was lost waiting for a while for the shipment to be updated with UPS (I assume!)
thanks everyone for youa nswers i willt ry next time i arrange a shipment, all recent ones i have been taking to the local drop off but delays my items going in until i am able to finish work early.
