Product Dimension
Hi there,
I have a small question regarding the product dimension in the product listing.
We are selling an item that is long but foldable to fit a packaging (poly bag) that is much smaller size - my question is:
1. Does Amazon count the packaging dimension when calculating FBA fees or the also item dimension (FYI - the item is long and will be very disproportionate to the packaging dimension).
2. Do we put the item dimension in an opened state in the product listing (Product detail)?

1. FBA Fees Calculation: Amazon calculates FBA fees based on the dimensions of the product's packaging, not the item itself. This means that the size of the poly bag or box your item is shipped in will determine the fees. Amazon uses sensors in their fulfillment centers to measure the package dimensions, including any loose material like poly bag flaps. 2. Product Listing Dimensions: In your product listing, you should provide the dimensions of the item in its usable state, which means when it's fully extended or opened. This helps customers understand the actual size of the product they are purchasing.

Product dimensions should reflect the product as it functions for the product when unpacked and the Product Package Dimensions are a measure of the product in it's prep and product packaging.
