Held accountable for Amazon's mistake?
Buyer opened an undelivered case, to which I responded on the same day with tracking code showing item is on the way but due to COVID19 there are delays. 2 days later the Item arrives and within minutes of delivery I message the buyer wishing them all the best with the item. 3 days later Amazon suddenly closes the case and refunds the buyer in full amount??? Why does Amazon not look at the messages to buyer (send in the AtoZ claims menu) Why does Amazon not check the tracking as they would have seen the item arrived 3 days prior?
Now Amazon say as they have already refunded the buyer, I need to message the buyer and ask them to contact Amazon to be re-charged for the item. Yeah right,… the buyer is ignoring me as they have both the item and the money… thanks Amazon!

You responded to the initial case to advise that the order was on it’s way,BUT, once the goods were delivered did you then revisit the claim and update Amazon requesting that the claim now be closed as the order had been successfully delivered?
If not then how would Amazon know? They cannot search every order for every seller to find proof of delivery, it is your job to supply it.
Hopefully your buyer will cooperate though…
