A-Z Claim Filed AFTER REFUND WAS GIVEN

A customer returned an item back to us and then filed an A-Z Claim after they were given a refund.

Our appeal description is below:

"We are appealing the decision on the A to Z claim. We accepted the return on 10/2/2024 and the return was accepted at our warehouse on 10/7/2024. We took care of the customer with the return for $46.41. Wtihin our return policy we do not give free returns and the customer did not message us asking for a return label. We do have a process to give return labels and within this situation due to the defective products we would have. As of today we gave the customer a refund on their shipping due to the plug going into the unit. Please reverse the A to Z claim as we took care of the end consumer."

Did you provide this appeal through the appeal link in that A to Z claim?

If not, then start there.

Generally, a mod would need a support ticket number for the incident to be able to look into.

We had an A to Z claim because the customer refused to send the item back within the 30 days because they supposedly "don't have a car to return it". BS!

Just another way buyers get refunds and free items!

Goodluck to you :)

Have a customer wanting a refund right now prior to receiving their order due to delays caused from the past storm. Expecting the same sadly since these customers are good for getting one over on the system. Just received a return of used items while they kept the original order so wish me luck,

They might have a problem with not giving the customer a free return label as for most of us sellers Amazon generates a return shipping label automatically that is charged to the seller. I may be wrong on this but it caught my eye. That is assuming they did not get a 100% refund. Good luck
