My product is inactive with "Product requires approval to sell"
But when I click "Request Approval" I'm getting the following error message:
We are not accepting applications to sell:
- Other Health & Personal Care category in Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)
- Other Human Ingestible in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)
I'm a new seller with a new product and reached out to Amazon support multiple times and always getting the same response that category is closed but can be reopened, no timelines, no details, just wait. I waited 3 months and there is no change, still unable to list my product and start selling it.
What can I do in this situation except of waiting for undefined amount of time?
Anyone else experiencing this?

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible customer experience, Amazon has implemented additional restrictions for ingestible brands, a.k.a dietary supplements. Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications for ingestible brands at this time.
If you feel that the categorization is wrong, please reach out to Seller Support so they can investigate this for you. If you are able to get this re-categorized, please provide me with the new case ID so I can look into this further for you.
If you are a brand owner, I recommend working with an attorney experienced in IP and the trademark office to understand the best path forward for you to have intellectual property in the updated product class (Health & Personal Care).
If you are not a brand owner but have a relationship with the brand directly, you can reach out to them to ask them to add you as an Authorized Reseller of their brand in Brand Registry, which may get you approved to list their items.
I know this is not the outcome that you were hoping for, but I thank you for your understanding.
