Impossible to reattach an orphaned child ASIN to parnet any ideas?

One of our best selling Disney products has 4 size variations which were correctly setup as a parent and child relationship. The Amazon system glitched the listing last week and one of the variations has become detached. We did not setup this orginal listing so we do not have the parent within our seller central so cannot control the relationships. We have attempted to re-attahced via Bulk upload but get the error returned that we cannot create new ASINS for the brand Disney (we are not we are trying to stick the old one back together) also it says the Parent SKU ins't wihtin our inventory so we can't build the relationship. We have contacted seller support about 20 times to fix this and they just flatly refuse to do so and say only sellers can fix variations (a lie as they have in the past). This keeps happening and the useless Amazon system is broken with no way we can see to fic this, any ideas on how to fix this issue?

This happens to us fairly often with band t-shirts. As of yet, I've never managed to get one fixed. Occasionally one seems to fix itself, so I assume a brand rep or someone with approval to create ASINs for that brand has fixed it, but they could honestly have just gotten lucky with a seller support agent who is actually willing to do things.

The best I think you can do is just keep reopening the case. Send screen shots showing they're the same product highlighting the images and title. If there's an external site (maybe your wholesaler) that has the sizes all listed as the same item, then link them to that/screenshot from there for them.

Hello @Seller_eh18p6n4mh4NW,

I'm Sarah with Amazon.

Did you manage to sort out this issue? If not, could you please share the case ID so I can check how I can assist.

Kind regards,

Sarah.

You need to apply for permissions to list ASIN's for Disney in order to resolve this. You need to follow the link you get in the spreadsheet upload error.

You will have to make it clear that you are applying to create or add to a current Parent ASIN as otherwise they think you are trying to create the child and tell you that the child is already on Amazon.

I have this happen a lot to me and I always have to apply for permission.

The most tricky part is getting Seller Support giving you permissions to create ASIN's for Disney.
