VTR Issues Yet Again
Hi
I have just received a performance message from Amazon as cut down briefly as below this message. We had our listings taken off about a month ago because our VTR was down, but we were doing what they requested at the time by ticking RM second class letter.
We submitted a plan, and it was approved and listings back on again. Our plan was that due to lots of advice from you lovely guys, to just purchase postage from Amazon. We are now doing that for every order and just going into BUY SHIPPING and choosing 2nd class post option and printing the labels. But now we have received this as below: Any ideas please. Thank you x
***Hello,
We have identified that your Valid Tracking Rate for seller-fulfilled orders in select categories has dropped below the 95% requirement. If your Valid Tracking Rate continues to be below 95%, we may remove the listings for your seller-fulfilled items in the affected categories on Amazon.co.uk.
We have observed that you have provided valid tracking numbers for less than 95% of your seller-fulfilled orders in select categories. Sellers must provide valid tracking numbers for at least 95% of their shipments with integrated delivery service providers in all categories. For more information on Amazon policy on this topic, go to “Valid Tracking Rate (VTR)”:
Please ensure that you no longer violate the Valid Tracking Rate policy. We recommend that you review your recent untracked shipments and make a plan to improve your performance. You can also purchase postage through Amazon Buy Shipping service, which automatically confirms shipment and provides tracking for your orders.
You do not need to submit a plan of action to us at this time.*******

Have you checked what’s showing on your report? Is there anything since the day you changed to buy shipping or is it just old orders still there?

Around July 21st (not a month ago), Amazon specifically stated that using this delivery method was invalid for the purpose of VTR, unless you include a valid tracking ID, which is impossible because they don’t have one unless it’s a parcel. The first thing you need to do moving forwards if you don’t already, is check any new Amazon announcements and VTR policy changes as they happen.
Are there still some of these included in the VTR metric timeline? Bear in mind that any orders sent around 6 weeks ago will most likely still be included.
Download the VTR defect report from the VTR page and check.
