Amazon didn't automatically approve the return order, leading the buyer to file an A-to-Z claim.
Normally, all my buyer's return requests are automatically approved by Amazon.
But for some reason this order of mine was not approved in a timely manner, resulting in the buyer filing an A-to-Z claim and me suffering a loss.
This should not be my responsibility. I trusted Amazon to allow Amazon to automatically approve return requests, but Amazon failed me.
I accept the refund, but not the ODR credited to my account.

Hello again @Seller_LtCxu1GTO9roo- and thanks for looking to the seller forums for some guidance on return authorizations.
Per guidance on managing seller fulfilled returns: "Amazon automatically authorizes US return requests that fall within Amazon’s return policy, including items with seller-filed SKU exemptions from the Prepaid returns for seller-fulfilled orders. Return requests that are out-of-policy or category-exempt will be sent for manual authorization. For more information, go to Authorize a return request."
You may wish to review if the return in this case was in-policy. Though, as the order ID you've listed here stems from the Canada region, if you are still in need of guidance, please post in the Canadian section of the forums for region-specific support and insight from other sellers in that country!
You can do so by selecting the dropdown in the top right of the forums view, and clicking on the Canadian flag.
Thanks very much,
Danny
