DE Account Been Suspended - German VAT Identification Number
Hey guys,
Just received an email today… saying our account has been suspended on Amazon.de. Please see below… Just wondering if any of you guys have experienced this issue in the past. We have a German VAT number and its been verified in seller central for over 12 months now, Iv messaged support and am awaiting there response but am not banking on anything.**
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.
" Your account has been suspended from selling on Amazon.de marketplace, using FBA services in Germany (including Pan-EU and CEE FBA programmes) and from delivering orders to customers based in Germany.
Why did this happen?
We have taken this measure because your German VAT identification number was not uploaded and verified by the deadline, or you failed to provide evidence that you opted in to Union One-Stop Shop (OSS) together with the VRN used for reporting OSS. Under German VAT legislation, online marketplaces must collect a German VAT identification number from selling partners who are required to be tax-registered in Germany.
A VAT number is valid when the business name and tax address are accurate and matching between the information entered in Seller Central and data stored in the German Federal Tax Authority’s database. For more information and recommended actions, please review the help page .
If you do not store inventory in Germany, you can alternatively meet your German tax obligations by opting in to OSS. You will need to provide evidence that you report your EU Business-to-Consumer cross border sales to Germany via One-Stop Shop and mark the VAT identification number in Seller Central used for OSS. How do I reactivate my account?
If you are required to be tax-registered in Germany, upload your German VAT identification number here .
If you do not store inventory in Germany, you can report your EU Business-to-Consumer cross-border sales to Germany via OSS and mark the VAT identification number in Seller Central used for OSS here.
If you want to ship any open orders or remove any FBA inventory from our fulfilment centres in Germany, please create a removal order using a removal order file (help page).

have you checked your VAT number is still uploaded on amazon and that it says valid on VIES ?
