Changing category from Sports Nutritions to Honey to avoid requirements
We are selling honey energy gels for sports and wanted to list the product originally as Sports Nutrition. Then we noticed that Amazon requires ISO certificates that would take us long time to acquire so we decided to list the product on Honey category. However, we still get the notification that we should submit the documents for Sports Nutritions although we are in a different category. Honey products shouldn’t have any requirements.
Is there anyway to go around this?

I am sorry, however you should list the product (which sounds to be a some sort of dietary/sport supplement) into it’s appropriate category. If it is required, provide Amazon all requested information, certificates and documents.
Trying to get around the rules by selecting different categories won’t help you as Amazon already correctly flagged the listing and the same will apply regardless of the category which you attempt to select.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your help, but I still have something on my mind! We decided to not sell the products on Amazon as it would require a lot resources from us to get a third party inspector, certificates and so forth so we decided to sell the goods only from our webshop. However, I know that it is possible to use Amazon only as a logistics partner (MCF) but do the same rules apply?
Do you know if there is any requirements if goods are only sent from Amazon warehouse but not sold on Amazon?
