Amazon monthly charge
I have been set up on Amazon for around 5 months now with a proffesional selling account.
Im verified/approved however I haven’t been charged the £25+VAT subscription fee apart from when i first enrolled. I thought this was a monthly charge?
Is this correct for a seller account that hasn’t got an active listing?
Kind regards

Turns out its because I dont have an active ASIN. (active out of stock and has been since the start).
Thanks for your help with this!

The £30 a month is not a mandatory fee, but is one of the two selling plans you can choose from.
Professional - where you pay the monthly fee, with added benefits, or
Individual - where you pay an additional small fee per sale.
I am wondering if they have changed recently (?) and automatically downgrade the plan if you have no active listings ??.

Yes thats what im thinking! just wanted to see if this is normal and has happened to anyone else before.
Hopefully its just that I haven’t got an active listing!

Just be prepared for them to take it in one hit
Is your credit card on file valid ?
Seller_3ngRfBZG7bqQP
Yes valid.
They shouldn’t take it in one hit as I haven’t been selling, has this happened to people before?

Yes, normally you downgrade to the free individual selling plan if you are not up and running
That’s why we are a little surprised you’ve not been charged
Just to check too before you do list, are you registered with hmrc and amazon as a business seller - sole trader or ltd company ?
Seller_3ngRfBZG7bqQP
Yes, im registered as a LTD company with both HMRC and Amazon.
Is it worth raising a case with seller support do you think?

You can but it maybe a promotion atm etc
