Amazon cs siding with buyer even though no fault of seller
A buyer from UK placed an order for an item with the Seller. After receipt of the item Buyer understand that she placed order for a wrong item not suitable for their application.
Blamed seller for duties payed by buyer at destination. Asked for refund including duties paid by Buyer without returning the item though buyer agreed she placed order for wrong item. Buyer Filed A-Z claim, Seller, represented the matter to AMAZON, but amazon customer service did not help to resolve the issue instead blamed seller (for what ?) and seller issued full refund including duties paid.
Now Amazon put the seller status “AT RISK” because Buyer filed A-Z claim.
Anybody has similar experience and what is the solution to make Amazon customer service understand
the importance of reviewing total history before putting blames on Seller. Sellers always wish to do good service to their customers, because they understand its importance.

As an US seller selling on Amazon UK, you are responsibe for paying any import duties and taxes on behalf of your customers.
The duties on shipments from outside the EU are often exceeding the order total and your buyer was within his rights to open an A-Z claim and get a refund if you failed to reimburse him for the extra charges.
