Can I change to FBM while my products are on their way to Amazon?

Hi everyone, I have listings that are FBA now but because it's going to take time to be available for selling can I change my FBA to FBM while they are on their way to Amazon's warehouse ? I also have inventory in my warehouse and want to sell right away.

Just create a separate listings (different SKU) for the merchant-fulfilled items.

Hi @Seller_K6rmTweXbeJIG,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to try to help! I would echo what @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl stated:

Hi,

You absolutely can! go to manage inventory, click on the 3 dots and convert to merchant, wait for 5 minutes and then you can add the inventory you wish

once they reach you can again convert them to fba

Do not convert the SKU to FBM. Go to "add a listing" and paste the ASIN and create a separate FBM SKU for the same item. That way if your FBA inventory runs out you continue to get orders for the item in question.

I have done it through ''Add Another Condition"...Which is an option under the 3 dots.

I do it all the time, because of how ;long it takes merchandise to get into inventory, and this way I don't loose sales while I wait.

In my experiences, when the merchandise gets into inventory, it will default to the FBA listing instead of the FBM listing.

go to your FBA sku, click "add a new condition" choose new and choose FBM...

it automatically duplicates every detail and inherits the picture too.

this is the correct way to sell items that are also FBA
