Late deliveries % issue
Hi all,
At the start of december my orders went crazy, I printed off the AZ invoices through RM’s C&D for their integrated labels function. For those that do this then you’ll know that AZ integration is separate for the EU orders, I have UK,ES,DE and FR enabled.
And so, like a n00b i thought i has cleared my orders by doing a huge print out of invoices to process but i neglected to include the EU orders!! There was about 60 waiting and they went 5 days without being dispatched! My AZ back end was slow to report this until one day (the 6th day) I got red bells and whistles all over the place for late dispatches.
Ok, so i immediately printed and dispatched the lot and my late delivery % was about 45%, a tad over the 4% limit! Over the next few days I processed all orders virtually as they were coming in to avoid anymore late dispatch notices and the % came down very quickly because the orders were flowing in. The EU shops are still hovering around 10% because there are less orders and so the figure isn’t coming down as fast, but my UK % seems to be stuck at 4.18% despite on average 60-80 orders a day coming in and being immediately processed:
Your Late Dispatch Rate is 4.18%; the target is 4%.
4.18%
53 of 1,267 orders
30 days
Can anyone tell me why this isn’t down to zero yet? Despite there being no late dispatches at all?
It’s only time before the EU shops get deactivated i think because the number of orders just aren’t enough to bring it down yet. Is my assumption correct on this?
Thanks all.

Don’t worry, you won’t get suspended over a Late Shipment Rate of 4.18%.
Here’s mine (on a different account, taken last week)
This happened due to the fact, that I was not aware of the new Manage Orders page hiding the old but still unshipped orders placed a longer than the default 3 days ago.
Amazon will not suspend you immediately after exceeding the targets. They usually allow the metrics to be a bit over the 4% before the poor account health gets reflected in any way.
The first warning sign would be the “At Risk” account status. At that point, any additional defects could possibly get you suspended.
Once you are “At Risk” and you also lost the BuyBox on all your FBM listings, then this is the time when the situation is serious and any new defect will immediately result in a suspension.
But as long as your current percentages will keep decreasing, you have nothing to worry about.

I do have the At Risk warning though! The percentage is not dropping and I’ve been dispatching same day or next day since I saw the problem.

its just dropped below 4% phew! thanks

No need to worry, as long as you process the orders in time in the following days, the percentage will come down. This happens to many sellers on Amazon.
Try to increase the orders fullfilled by sellers through price reduction or promotion.
