Selling in toys and games category over Christmas period

Hi
I have received a email from Amazon regarding my eligibility to sell in the toys and games category over the holiday period. Basically the email states that my account is in good standing and there are no issues, however a final decision will be made in October and i will be told on the 10th of October. I don’t even sell toys and games, i only sell bunting.
I don’t really want my bunting in the toys and games category anyway but i am unable to edit the browse nodes. I have asked SS to move the bunting into Home / kitchen party supplies / banner /garlands however even when i have been informed that they have done this, the bunting is still in toys and games. Overall some of my listings are in toys and games, some in home and kitchen.
What i would like to know is if i persist with seller support to have the browse nodes edited and my listings updated does this mean that by moving them from one category to another it is effectively like listing a brand new item and i lose my sales history/ ranking.?
