Negative feedback

Wonder if someone could help. We have a customer who left negative feedback, saying they did not receive the item. Now the item was sent via Royal Mail, tracked and is coming up as signed for by the customer.
When I suggested the customer could ask their regular postman about the item I was given quiet an aggressive reply and given negative feedback.
Amazon will not review the feedback as they say it does not breach their policies, which I presume it does not, but it feels very unfair as a seller that this can happen

You are correct that Amazon will not remove it. Your response to it is ok (although there’s a typo) and i would say most buyers would not be put off from that one bit of feedback.
That said your feedback overall isn’t great and delivery seems a recurring issue, so it is worth reviewing your systems / processes to make sure they are as good as they can be.
