How to obtain 18+ certification

The amazon seller app has allowed me to buy some axes without “RED FLAGGING”… INDEED it stated that i could sell these products SO with that clear i purchased them.NO red flags when creating my shipping plan so all was good. Its now after my sku’s arrived at one of the amazon warehouses i recieve an email to inform me that they have been blocked due to them being a bladed product & that i need to provide 18+ certification for to sell them. I have no idea how to obtain these & theres no clear instruction on any of the links provided & im having trouble with resolving this.
All of this could have been avoided if the seller scanning app was doing its job. It said that i was unable to sell a cabbage patch doll BUT stated “YOU CAN SELL THIS PRODUCT” when i scanned the axes.!!!
Is anybody had the same issue & OR could anybody please help with knowing how i should obtain the 18+ certification. Im not sure if i need to contact the manufacturer…If i should have had the certification come with the product when i purchad them OR if this certification can be obtained on the seller central paged. ive searched through but am not able to find a solution.
This all could have been avoided if the app said “NO”…

Once the app tells you you can sell the goods does it also tell you if they are FBA eligible?

To sell this product on Amazon, you need to provide a certificate from an authorised courier that proves they check the customer’s age on delivery, you cannot sell these items through FBA.
There are only 2 couriers authorised to do this in the UK, Yodel and…I forget the other. Either way the cost of using them is extortionate, I’ve been quoted anything from £15 to £30 per age-verified delivery (depending on how many orders you ship per month).
The reason the app said yes was because technically you CAN sell the product, you just need to use the right courier to ship it.

Sorry but you’re stuck now. Amazon won’t sell these for you as they don’t use an age verified carrier, normally you would ask for a removal order - but again Amazon won’t return them to you for the same reason. Only choice now is to pay Amazon to “destroy” the goods - 20p plus VAT an item I believe.

Hindsight I know - but there has been nationwide info about bladed restrictions coming into force for a while now.
