Hi, we want to add a product insert linking to the “leave-a-review” page on amazon. This will be seen by all our customers when opening the box, including those who didn’t buy on amazon.

Is it allowed by amazon to request reviews to any customer, regardless of the purchasing channel?

Well, reviews do not need to be authorised purchases on Amazon, however be aware if there were any significant number of reviews solicited this way it is possible Amazon may determine it is review manipulation and suppress the product/ASIN.

Additionally, I don’t imagine the url generated to go to the review of the product is going to be very friendly unless you are considering printing a QR code for instance. I certainly wouldn’t expect anyone to bother trying to type it in, let alone type it accurately.
