Changing bank account

Good afternoon, We had to change our bank account this morning and OMG firstly got kicked out of Amazon and could not get back on, spoke to someone and have got back on, thankfully!! Anyway we are waiting on verification! meanwhile the holiday mode has been switched on automatically, before I click any buttons does the system do this or did I do this? I am concerned to try and turn back on just in case they kick me back off and I will end up like I did this morning pulling my hair out!! TIA - do apologise if this is a repeat question as I do see many in the topic bar but they are from 2017-2020 and probably out of date! Thanks again for reading.

It’s probably been switched on by amazon pending verification of the new bank account for which you’ll probably just need to upload a statement

Changing bank accounts is a major change t Amazon so they will have out your account into holiday mode (ie inactive ) until they have verified the change.
