Seller Verification for LTD company

We've been asked to undergo seller verification (only reason I can see why is my passport is now out of date).

We are a LTD company with 50/50 shareholders (myself and my business partner). I want to ensure that I upload the right documents to minimise any downtime but it seems Amazon refer to documents that are different to the names on Company House.

Please can any one help with what documents I need for the below requests. The more I read on seller forums, the more confused I am.

Under the 'Business Information' section

  • 'Registration Extract'

Final Section - Statute Document

  • 'Business name on submitted Statutes should be DIY Cosmetics

Submitted Statutes should contain Articles of Association and a share allotment document (statement of Capital/ Annual return/ share register).'

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi @Seller_hexPXZ2ODRmtY,

I just checked with our partner team about your account situation. Actually, you don't need to provide any additional documents. You're fully compliant.

The issue you're experiencing is actually a known bug that's affecting quite a few sellers right now. Seller Central keeps asking for documents repeatedly even when everything is fine.

For now, the temporary fix is just try deleting the documents you've already uploaded and then upload them again.

The tech team is working on a permanent solution, though we don't have a timeline for when it'll be fixed yet.

Regards, Ezra

It's good that you have "admitted" there is a bug. Bugs are part and parcel of anything IT so they are expected.

But how these bugs are managed and communicated separates forward thinking companies to those that live in a cage. You must surely know who these (quite a few) sellers are. The right thing is to email them and tell them about it, tell them not to worry and give them the instructions you gave above while you are fixing the problem.

Go on @Ezra_Amazon. Make this a first for Amazon!
