Warehouse Receiving Issues

Hi,

Just me or is anyone else having issues with the warehouses receiving stock?

Takes days to check in.
Then continuous receiving against wrong shipping plans and then I get an inbound performance report.

Then one box is always missing per shipment I send :frowning:

We are also really struggling to get any shipments received at the moment. We have been waiting for 2 weeks for numerous shipments to be received which are still showing as checked in. Small and Light shipment waiting since the 25th of September. Always slower at this time of year but never known it quite this bad before. Certainly not good for cash flow at this key time. Standard responses when queries raised stretching the timescales to 14 days form being checked in to raise an investigation. Just have to hope we get some goods on sale soon I guess…!

So, with all the problems that we’re all seeing at the moment, I guess that on the run into Christmas, it’s only going to get worse. In anticipation of this, has anybody amended their replenishment alerts, as in increasing the amount of weeks cover required? So as to mitigate the inevitable delays?

I asked when people started stocking up for christmas on this forum, in August, and they said they were sending stock in august to be best prepared!

Someone also told me, a couple of years ago, the warehouses were so overwhelmed it was taking 30 days plus to get stock checked in, and hence why the more experienced sellers were over cautious.

My opinion, I would rather be over cautious then not making any money

I don’t understand how they can make so many mistakes. Surely there must be some sort of reports that go up the management chain.

Sometimes I send in 1 box and the receipting starts and then they take 4 or 5 days to finish the box. Do they really leave the half receipted box kicking around for days?

Im in exactly the same boat here and its BHX4 as well. surely there is something that can be done if so many businesses are being affected by the same issues. Clearly this issue is amazons side and not sellers making mistakes.

I’ve just had an issue with BHX1.
Basically they have lost a box of 10 items and won’t admit to it… although they apparently have found 4 of the items in another owners inventory, but still they say they haven’t received them
I know they had them because I delivered them to the FC personally and they were within another box that contained similar items, all of which were received correctly.
They have refused to reimburse me for the lost items.

This is not the first time they have lost product but the first time they have refused to compensate me.
Not happy.

Last 5 consignments sent to BX4 all checked in & in receiving with 48 hours of dispatch. Unusual I know, but just saying.
