Read onlyWhat's up? Hope everyone is doing well. I gotta tell you guys, I'm feeling a bit frustrated over here. It's been a whole month since I received any payment since April 7th, and I've been hustling hard to sell stuff on Amazon, you know? But still haven't seen a dime of payment. I've been shipping out orders for a month now, spent quite a bit on Amazon ads in the meantime, and there's a decent amount of reserved funds in my account, but still no payment. It's really getting to me, shipping out goods but not getting paid. Amazon, can you guys consider easing up on holding funds?
Thanks a bunch!
Not going to happen. Payment is fully automated, support is not able to intervene.
Doing business on Amazon might mean selling products for months and not receiving any money for months. So a large cash reserve is a must.
Make absolutely sure, your account is in good standing (i.e. tax registration is accepted by Amazon, EPR registration is accepted by Amazon, no performance hits and so on) - if there are any red flags, stop selling, until the issues are resolved. Some registrations will take weeks or months, externally and internally.
Blocking of payment does and *will* happen in the future. That's a 100% chance there. Happens when you are reaching certain levels of turnover, requiring additional KYC statements, unusual increases in sales, offering brand products and so on.
