I've had my seller account suspended with no email or performance notification
Hi guys!
So as you can guess by the title, my seller account has been deactivated by amazon with absolutely no performance notification or email! Whenever I click on the ‘Reactivate your account’ button it takes me to the performance notifications, none of which are in regards to the account deactivation. I’ve also checked my email and nothing! There’s no email there.
My next step was to contact Amazon about this, but I’ve emailed them almost 4 days ago and there is no response at all.
Has this happened to anyone, if so, how did you fix it?
I’m really gutted at this moment as Amazon has taken away my livelihood within the span of seconds. I would’ve thought they’d show a bit more compassion for small businesses during this covid-19 situation, even an email explaining why and how I could’ve gotten my seller account reactivated would’ve been nice!

You must have missed something somewhere as there is always [as far as I am aware] a notification, even if that notification is vague as to the precise reason
Check your emails and notifications,check your metrics etc , look at your feedback, complaints etc
There has to be a reason lurking there somewhere.

This happened to us two years ago…suspended without reason six weeks from Christmas. No emails, no red flags, 100% metrics, we were the perfect seller.
Ultimately we mailed the MD’s team who rescinded the suspension and apologised for the error. Prior to this we sent three emails to seller performance who did not reply. To this day we have no reason why we were suspended.

Same thing happened me on the 8th April, i did get notice to say my info was not up dated, so i sent them what they asked for, and again they kept asking for more info which i give them, then i got email to say its being activated again on Saturday past, And still its not been active. I have called 2-3 times and all i am told is to wait.
Some of our products were no1 best sellers and things was going well. Then it comes to a stop just like that.
Im not what i can do also to get back selling.

Are you trading under a Ltd company? Strangely it seems this sort of thing tends to happen to those not trading under a ltd company sometimes.

Thank you for your post. I understand due to the current Covid -19 situation many of our Selling Partners have been affected. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
I’m assuming you may have multiple selling accounts in different market places. If so, could you please check the “Performance Notifications” for all of those accounts? To find out which account has resulted in deactivation issues and appeal from that account itself.
You will need to send an appeal to the respective team with the format as stated below:
First, you will need to identify the root cause for your deactivation. (How it happened)?
Next, you will need to mention the measures you have taken to fix the current issue?
And lastly, you will need to mention the preventive measures you have taken to desist this from happening again. (Be specific about details and think about the long term solutions)
If they have requested any documents to be presented from your end then you should attach the requested documents with your appeal.
Please do appeal through the appeal button which reflects on your performance notification following the standard method mentioned above. If you have already completed the method above, please wait for further communication from Amazon. We had our account suspended as my passport has expired and they require a new P.P number. So until I manage to get a new passport our Amazon account is off. Possibly a good thing at the moment though as our other channels have gone through the roof.
